[edit] Installation
To get help during installation type F2 function key. In the booting, Knoppix uses the US Keyboard.
[edit] XFree86
You can change the graphic setting (if you see nothing in the screen) typing credativ xmodule=fbdev
You can type credativ lang=lang-abbrev where lang-abbrev is the language abbreviation, i.e., es for spanish, gb for great britain and so on.
You can type expert to change more than one settings. You can change the keyboard using pressing Z for Y(es) in the question do you want to (re)configure you console keyboard??. You must type Z because Gnoppix after booting installs by default the german keyboard (de-latin1-nodeadkeys), where Z key shows the Y letter.

I've removed this as it's not exactly encyclopedic material - we should be talking about the distribution and not into how to install it. If anyone disagrees, they can place it back if they so wish Dysprosia 14:13, 9 Nov 2003 (UTC)
- Seeing as Gnoppix doesn't even use Xfree any more, I'd say that was a good call.
