gNOX was a Linux LiveCD based on Slackware and built using Linux-Live scripts (see LiveCD). gNOX used the popular GNOME desktop environment and also the lightweight Xfce. Matthew Talman, maintainer for gNOX, discontinued further development in early October 2005
