User:Gnangarra/Photo wish list

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Over the next 6 weeks I'll be playing tourist with a group of kids as part of a skool school holidays program that will see them going to a different place every weekday. All places are within about a 1 hour drive of the Perth CBD. If I'm going to anywhere thats on the list I'll take photos and post a link back here. If there are any places/items/activities you want a photo from/of list it here. Just to keep you all in suspence I wont tell anyone where I'm going you'll just have to put the page on your watch list.

[edit] Nedlands

I had a feeling you would ask that as soon as I posted. Either would be good, I can include both. Thanks! --Ali K 11:20, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Perth Airport

  • What an occasion ! I'd love to get pictures of de:Byblis gigantea, a plant endemic around Perth. One location is close to the Perth Airport, four more locations are known from Cannington Swamp. The plants habit is extremely similar to this: Image:ByblisLamellata2.jpg, though it gets rather large, up to 60 centimeter. Its leaves are glistening from drops, as it is a carnivorous plant. Would be wonderful to get a photo .. Best wishes, Denisoliver 11:51, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
