The Commune (Municipality) of Czernichów (Polish: Gmina Czernichów) is a unit of territorial administration in Kraków County in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship of Poland.

Its capital city is Czernichów. The Commune of Czernichów has 12,798 inhabitants (2004).

Czernichów is regarded as a beautiful municipality, located at the riverside of the Vistula river, among limestone and hillocks covered with forests. The commune has two tourist parks, Rudawski Park Krajobrazowy and Bielańsko-Tyniecki Park Krajobrazowy. There is also a nature park, "Kajasówka", which is an excellent example of steppes in the landscape. The commune also has many interesting monuments.
