Gmünd is a town and municipality in Spittal an der Drau District, Carinthia, Austria. Gmünd has a famous Porsche museum, Porsche Automuseum Helmut Pfeifhofer, located on the site where Dr. Ferdinand Porsche began to build his cars after WWII. The Porsche factory moved to Zuffenhausen, Stuttgart in the early 1950's.

As of 2001, it has a population of 2,605.
