Why is there no zero in the line for Tamil in the table? Are the tamil symbols for 1-9 actually used in a positional decimal numeral system? If so, there must be a zero! If not, they do not belong in this article.--Niels Ø 14:04, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
- There's the posibility that they do use a positional decimal system using a simple space for the value of zero. If the language commonly doesn't use spaces, then this is perfectly unambiguous. But I'd still rather like to see some explanation of this for the Tamil numerals.--Suicidium 20:18, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
- I think that possibility is rather remote - how clearly could you distingusih 1000100 from 1001000 or 100001000, say--Niels Ø 22:27, 5 April 2006 (UTC)?
