Talk:Glycohemoglobin
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This page states that glycohemoglobin is the same thing as hemoglobin A1c. Since hemoglobin A1c redirects to glycosylated hemoglobin, this page should do likewise.
But wait! Some resources, such as http://www.webmd.com/hw/diabetes_1_2/hw8432.asp, say that the term glycohemoglobin refers collectively to hemoglobin A1a, hemoglobin A1b, and hemoglobin A1c. If that is the case, then this page should not redirect to glycosylated hemoglobin; ideally, it would explain the difference between glycohemoglobin and glycosylated hemoglobin.
