Gloria Williams Hearn

Gloria Williams Hearn (born 1934) is a retired Democratic educator from Pineville who lost the November 7, 2006, congressional election in Louisiana's 5th Congressional District to the incumbent Republican Rodney McKinnie Alexander of Quitman in Jackson Parish. Alexander prevailed in the jungle primary held on the same day as the national general election with some 68 percent of the vote. It was Alexander's third consecutive victory for the U.S. House, having first won as a Democrat in 2002 and then twice as a Republican.
