Global Development Awards and Medals Competition

The Global Development Awards and Medals Competition is an international competition for research on development that is organised by the Global Development Network (GDN), a non-profit organization registered in the United States. About $2 million has been distributed in these awards supported by the Government of Japan since the competition was founded in 2000.

The categories of award include "Most Innovative Development Project". In 2005, this was won by the Aga Khan Foundation.
