Global Deejays

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Global Deejays is an Austrian dance trio composed of DJ Taylor (Konrad Schreyvogl), DJ Mikkel (Mikkel Christensen) and FLOw (Florian Schreyvogl), and Marie Geidel (tha kraze azian) Their first three singles were big hits in Europe, particularly in Russia. It's been rumored that the group is in part trisexual. DJ Taylor was quoted saying "I'm free. My music is free. My sexuality is free. I do not hate or discriminate. Women Men White Black or Brown"

Their song "The Sound of San Francisco" samples the 1967 (The Summer of Love) song "San Francisco (Be Sure To Wear Flowers In Your Hair)" sung by Scott McKenzie. The video includes scenes of the band in a decorated school bus driving through popular destinations.

In 2005 they won the MTV Award and the Eska.
