Global Broadcast News (GBN) is an India media corporation under the Network 18 umbrella. The major shareholders apart from the Indian public and foreign & domestic institutions are parent company Network 18, sister company TV18 and a group of professionals including Editor-In-chief Rajdeep Sardesai and Joint Managing Directors Sameer Manchanda & Haresh Chawla. The company runs two general news channels under the 'Indian Broadcast News' (IBN) banner, that are broadcast all over India.

CNN-IBN (English) is a joint venture of Turner Broadcasting and Global Broadcast News
IBN-7 (Hindi) - formerly Channel 7. GBN holds 49% in BK Fincap. The remaning 51% is held by Dainik Jagran founders. BK Fincap in turn owns 90% in Jagran TV that operates IBN-7)

www.ibnlive.com is the online version of CNN-IBN. It is owned by Web 18 which is the umbrella company for all Network 18 online properties. Global Broadcast News owns a 15% stake in Web 18.

Global Broadcast News listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India on the 8th of February 2007 at a significant premium to its issue price.
