Glenn Dale Hospital

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Glenn Dale Hospital was a tuberculosis sanitarium in Prince Georges County, Maryland in the United States. It's a large facility, 22 buildings on over 200 acres, that was built in 1934 and closed in 1982 due to asbestos. Though it is now closed and will be eventually demolished, for decades it was an important public health institution near Washington, D.C..

It is said that Glenn Dale is a haunted institution and many teenagers and young adults sneak in to see if ghosts and other paranormal things actually exist.

"I visited Glenn Dale last night and it was just my best friend and I. We snuck in and walked through the laundry facility. We didn't see any ghosts, but it was creepy enough just being there under the water tower and the incincerator where many people were burned to death."
