Glendale Community College is a community college in Glendale, Arizona USA. GCC opened its doors in 1965. Since then 319,000 students have completed associate degrees, certificate programs, industry-specific training and university transfer courses through the college. The school enrolls about 40,000 students per year. GCC is a part of the Maricopa County Community College District, the largest community college district in the United States. The main campus is 147 acres large and is located at 59th and Olive Avenues in Glendale, Arizona.

One of its two satellite campuses is on the campus of Arizona State University's West Campus. With its close proximity to the state college's satellite campus and employing the statewide Course Applicability System, GCC is often host to dual-enrolled students taking advantage of the community college's significantly lower tuition rate and full transferability of many lower division courses.

GCC's first semester in 1965 started off with only 2,000 students enrolled in classes held at two temporary locations. 16 September 1966 was the first day that classes were held at the college's current location.
