Glenda Collins

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Glenda Collins was a British pop music singer active in the 1960s. Collins was discovered by Carroll Levis, whose promotion landed her a contract with Decca Records.

Her songs were produced by Joe Meek, featuring guitarist Ritchie Blackmore on some tracks. Meek kept her on after her Decca contract expired, but she was never able to break high in the pop charts. She recorded sporadically after Meek's suicide. A 2006 compilation titled This Little Girl's Gone Rockin' contains her most notable singles, many of which are now collectors' items.
