Glenda Adams

Glenda Adams (born 1939 in Sydney, Australia) is a novelist and writer. She attended the University of Sydney and Columbia University, where she studied at the Graduate School of Journalism. She has worked as a lecturer at a number of tertiary insitutions, including Columbia University, Sarah Lawrence College, and the University of Technology, Sydney.

In 1987 Adams won the Miles Franklin Award and the New South Wales State Literature Award for Dancing on Coral.

Other works include Hottest Night of the Century (1979), Games of the Strong (1982), Longleg (1990), and Tempest of Clemenza (1996).
