[edit] History

Glenbard South was the fourth, and final, of the Glenbard high schools to be built. It opened its doors for the 1972-73 school year. The most notable accomplishment of Glenbard South was an appearance of the school newspaper on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno for misspelling their slogan, "if it's to hard to do, then it's not worth doing" This year marks the last year of principle Leensvaart's authority, as he is retiring next year(for 2007).[citation needed]
