Glen Dell is a South African commercial airline trainer and aerobatics pilot, who was qualified to race in the 2007 Red Bull Air Race World Series season.
Born to a father, who was a WW II pilot, Glen Dell did his Private Pilot License in about 1979. Then, he joined the South African Air Force to fly helicopters. After obtaining his Commercial Pilot License, he was employed by the South African Airways 19 years ago, where he is now a Senior Training Captain [1][1]</ref>[2]
Starting in 1985, he won the National Aerobatic Championships in various categories 12 times. Glen Dell competed in the World Aerobatic Championships since 1994, and became Advanced World Aerobatic Champion in 2004.[2][3]</ref>[4]
