Glebe Gallery

The Glebe Gallery is located just outside the town of Letterkenny and is home to the art collection of the landscape and portrait painter Derek Hill who lived and worked there until 1954. He presented his house and his art collection to the Irish state in 1981. Derek Hill's former studio has been converted into a modern gallery with works of art by among others Pablo Picasso, Edgar Degas, Georges Braque, Graham Sutherland and Jack Butler Yeats.
