Gleaming Spires are a new wave pop group popular in the 1980's. They were signed to Posh Boy Records, and they consisted of vocalist Rob Goraieb, guitarist Bob Haag, bassist Leslie Bohem, and drummer David Kendricks. They had a minor hit with their song "Are You Ready for the Sex Girls" which was featured in Revenge of the Nerds and The Last American Virgin. They also played with other bands including Sparks on their Whomp That Sucker album.
