Camembert, I "am" the bot, but I have no idea what I'm doing wrong with the external links (the bullet). When I edit, preview (not changing anything), it shows up correctly. Jeronimo
- Yes, I noticed that as well, it's very odd isn't it? Could you be creating something other than a standard carriage return charater after the "External link" heading, perhaps? Anyway, so long as they get fixed, it doesn't matter too much I guess. --Camembert
Nope, just a normal \n\r. Well actually, two, since that also works funny: if I do only one, it displays two, even though the code (again, like the bullet) says one. Maybe I should check this out with a developer. Jeronimo
- My hunch is this: the wiki parser only reads \n as an "end of line", so it thinks the next line begins with \r. That means it thinks the line is "\r* ..." so the * is not at the start of a line. Preview must be munching it in a different way; and editing again and saving probably converts the \r to \n cross-platform. (I've had a few problems with this in perl lately... ) -- Tarquin 23:56 Nov 9, 2002 (UTC)
