Photograph uploaded by Dirk van der Made (user:DirkvdM).
The interior of the newly built warehouse Schunck in Heerlen, the Netherlands, nicknamed 'het Glaspaleis' (the glass palace) because it is encased in a free-standing cage of glass. The building was built (well, commissioned) by my grandfather, hence my interest in it. I intend to write an article of the building (already made a start at the Heerlen article).
Photograph taken from the internet (can't remember the site). The building was built in the 1930's and the photograph must have been taken when it was just finished, so I assume it is free of copyright. I'm not sure if this falls under Fair use, though.
