Glad is a song by the British rock band Traffic. It is featured as the first song on the 1970 album John Barleycorn Must Die. Glad is a completely instrumental composition, which is very jazzy, and as implied by the title, the song is very upbeat and happy. It was written by Steve Winwood and has a very distinctive riff with horns and piano. In 2006, it was sampled on the Christina Aguilera album Back to Basics, on the track Makes Me Wanna Pray.
