Talk:Give-away shop

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hi. I'd like to see some more translations of "give-away shop". Could you please add them to Wiktionary? Thanks. G-u-a-k-@ 16:14, 19 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Isn't the quote "There is enough in the world for everyone's need, but not enough for everyone's greed." by Frank Buchman, from Remaking the World? shinyblue 16:27, 5 Nov 2004 (PST)

I'm not familiar with the Low Countries variant discussed here. How are these shops financed? If they are run as charities, how do the differ from charity shops? If run as for-profit enterprises, what is their source of profit? The article IMHO needs to explain this. --Tkinias 23:20, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)

There is no profit! And yes, the article should explain this. The shops are ran by volunteers... G-u-a-k-@ 01:21, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Reference to the online website for giving away free stuff (craigs list) might be a good idea.
