Giving TV

Giving TV and givingtv.com markets itself as the daily voice of news and entertainment in the worlds of charity and giving. Conceived in 2004 by network creator and financier, Jeffery Gustafson, the new network announced plans for its first original program called “Festivale”, commencing in March 2007.
In a world of around-the-clock sports, music, entertainment and weather reports, Giving TV is the first-ever attempt to highlight events related to global philanthropy.
Headquartered in San Francisco, with offices and studio in New York City, the company is underwritten financially by Gustafson owned and operated Associates Capital Group, a private equity capital firm.
According to Gustafson, the dream became reality in summer of 2006 with the development of the travel-magazine show “Festivale." The show blends exotic destinations, extreme vacation excursions and exclusive parties, the sponsorships and proceeds of which are earmarked to help charitable causes worldwide.
In addition to “Festivale”, the network indicates plans to air daily reports and news releases from the ever-growing world of cause marketing and charitable events starting June 2007.
The company’s ‘JUST ONE’ slogan refers to the idea that in a world of 24-hour niche networks covering sports, Hollywood movies, and government debate, there ought to be ‘JUST ONE’ network dedicated to the world of charity, global efforts and random acts of kindness.
