Talk:Giuseppe Pinelli
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I think my version here is much better than the current, but I dont want to get into a edit war. More details regarding the bombing and the aftermath of Pinelli's death is important. I have found conflicting reports on some details such as the number injured, the floor he fell from and the name of the police chief, but for the most part the agreed facts are there. - Dr Haggis - Talk 18:41, 29 July 2005 (UTC)
- As long as the witness and chief's background are mentioned, you can put in what you want, I'm more concerned with deletions than insertions. If the bombings are brought into it, it should be told that these bombings were done by fascists with connections to Propaganda Due and all of that. Italian politics is so much like a Mario Puzo novel, it can be hard to believe sometimes... Ruy Lopez 05:38, 30 July 2005 (UTC)
- I included the witess info, but I could not find anything about the chief. Some sources said that Luigi Calabresi was the chief, and I could find no info regarding the chief being a warden of a political prison under Mussolini. Do you have a source I could read? Most of the core bombing info should be on the Strage di Piazza Fontana page, but the details directly related to Pinelli should be here for completeness. - Dr Haggis - Talk 18:35, 30 July 2005 (UTC)
