The result of the debate was to Delete the image.

FUC#1 Overinterpretation. This image was released for expressly this kind of use. I am unable to replicate it. When someone CAN replicate it, please do so, and replace this one. Oh, and be sure to get the subject to sign off on it. (California is one of those pesky personality rights states.) Fair use material is completely permitted on the English-language Wikipedia. Fair use is permited when in accordance to WP:FUC. The unfree image must be unique to be used. Your link points to somewhere outside of Wikipedia itself. --Abu Badali 12:00, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

The link points to a Wikimedia listing which states quite clearly that fair use images are allowed on the English-language Wikipedia.

But here's the pertinent part, from actual Wikipedia: From Wikipedia:Copyrights - All original Wikipedia text is distributed under the GFDL. Occasionally, Wikipedia articles may include images, sounds, or text quotes used under the U.S. Copyright law "fair use" doctrine. It is preferred that these be obtained under the most free (libre) license (such as the GFDL or public domain) practical. In cases where no such images/sounds are currently available, then fair use images are acceptable (until such time as free images become available).

When someone provides a free image, that has all of the personality rights issues addressed, then sure, replace it. Until then, this image should stand. Jenolen 23:18, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
