Lady Githany is a fictional character in the Star Wars Expanded Universe. She was a Dark Lady of the Sith who fought during the New Sith Wars.

She had once been a Jedi, and a lover of Jedi Lord Kiel Charny, but turned to the dark side, joining the Brotherhood of Darkness, where she quickly climbed the ranks.

Like many of the other Sith Lords of the time, she followed Lord Kaan, but began to abandon him when the war turned against the Sith. She used the youth Darovit to revenge herself on Charny; the boy decapitated the Jedi with his own lightsaber, and she then took Darovit as her own apprentice. Githany was killed in the blast of Lord Kaan's thought bomb in the Battle of Ruusan.

Lady Githany is the first person known to wield a lightwhip in battle, and the only one known to use such a weapon besides Lady Lumiya and Kit Fisto.
