Giovanni Antonio Dosio

Giovanni Antonio Dosio (1533- after 1609) was an Italian architect and sculptor.
He was born in San Gimignano. A student of Ammanati, with which he realized the Villa dell'Ambrogiana, Dosio worked primarily in Florence, Rome, and Naples.
Giovanni Caccini was his pupil.

He is the author of Urbis aedificiorum illustrium quae supersuni reliquiae (1569).
