Giovane Scuola

The Giovane Scuola ("Young School") were a group of Italian composers (mostly operatic) which included Puccini, Mascagni, Leoncavallo, Giordano, Cilea, Franchetti and Perosi. Most of the composers of the Giovane Scuola movement were also Veristi, i.e, members of the Verismo movement. See music genre
