Giornale del Popolo

Giornale del Popolo is a regional newspaper based in Lugano, Switzerland. The Italian-language daily has a distribution of 22,000 (2003). Editor-in-chief is GianMaria Pusterla.
Since 2004, 49% of the paper has been owned by the publisher of Corriere del Ticino, with the Diocese of Lugano retaining a majority share of 51%.
