Ginetes

Ginetes is a parish in the district of Ponta Delgada in the Azores. The population in 2001 is 1,267, its density is 105/km² and the area is 12.07 km². It is located on a road linking Mosteiros and Ponta Delgada. The main industry are agriculture and fishing. The Atlantic Ocean is to the west and southwest. The mountains covered with lovely trees are bounded to the northeast. The rest of the land are farmlands along with barren lands.
