It would be appropriate to stop removing that bit of info from the Matt Drudge article. We should talk about the change on the talk page first. I'll see you there. --LV (Dark Mark) 20:33, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] 3RR on Matt Drudge

I had blocked you for violating 3RR; however, I'm willing to let it slide if you don't edit the sexuality part of the article for 24 hours. If you do edit this part of the article, you will be blocked, no questions asked. Ral315 (talk) 21:25, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Personal Attacks, e.g. insults

Personal insults add nothing to a discussion and only put you in a position of appearing petty. I'm only getting involved here because of how stinking annoying both of you were being. There are civil ways of handling these things, and calling someone as idiot is not one of them.--Kevin 03:02, 10 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Sockpuppets

It's advisable that you pick a name for your acount and stick to it. I'm not implying anything, just giving some advice.--Kevin 03:02, 10 November 2005 (UTC)

This is the only name I have ever used. Giles22

[edit] Comments on Talk:Matt Drudge

I think we should discuss the issue; however, your comments comparing Eleemosynary to Joseph McCarthy were unwarranted. Please don't make personal attacks- they're likely to cause other contributors to react negatively, and I'd prefer open, positive discussion about the issue. Ral315 (talk) 15:49, 11 November 2005 (UTC)

Ok. Giles22 22:45, 13 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Woody Allen

I initially protected, but it looks like this just started. I would suggest trying to talk it out first, since I see little discussion on this on the talk page. Look at dispute resolution if need be. --Woohookitty(cat scratches) 03:48, 3 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] woody

My agenda is to enhance articles where they are lacking. You on the other hand only seem to revert, especially anything that might tarnish Woody's image.

Justforasecond 19:14, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

I have looked at your edit history. You've italicized a few things. I'm not sure what you've put in about the marriages but I'm fairly certain I've put much more into it, and unlike you, I don't go around reverting stuff because it tarnishes some image of Woody that never existed. I also do research, rather than "x doesn't prove that woody is not religious" etc.

Here's a typical edit of yours, changing "affair" to "relationship". The guy sleeps with his long term girlfriend's possibly underaged daughter behind said grilfriend's back....that's what most folks call an affair. I'm not here to put some sanitized niceynicey biography of Woody together, I'm putting together facts. Justforasecond 23:11, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Sunmoonmule.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.

It seems like the {{albumcover}} tag and a fair use rational on the image description page would be the most useful thing you could do here. Regards, Dethomas 03:09, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Discussion Pages

Don't edit articles and ask people to 'see discussion page' if you're unwilling to participate in discussions. As things stand, there's agreement on the Ann Coulter page aside from you, and you're not participating in discussions. Amibidhrohi 01:26, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

Amibidhrohi, the fact that I as the most vocal of the people disagreeing with you came into agreement doesn't mean that you have consensus; it just means you have one fewer obstacles. Many of the things I said would have been said by others if I hadn't said them. Giles22, you might wish to see Wikipedia:Mediation_Cabal/Cases/2006-03-29_Ann_Coulter; I had asked for mediation help prior to Amibidhrohi changing his edit to something with which I can live, but you might still wish to avail yourself of that help since it doesn't look like consensus is forthcoming and Amibidhrohi is clearly upset about this issue. -Syberghost 01:59, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Clarence Thomas

The Clarence Thomas article you lauded as "excellent" is currently being discussed here regarding the insertion of some trivia. If you care to, could you take a look and comment? --Paul 01:04, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Sunmoonmule.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. [edit] Sun Moon Mule

Please do not delete the album cover for Sun Moon Mule again. This non-stop reverting is getting ridiculous. Giles22 20:29, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

The image had no source indicated on the article, and as no source was supplied for 7 days, it was properly deleted. Images are required to have a source given on their image page. Please see Wikipedia:Image use policy. Thanks! Stifle (talk) 20:49, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
Giles22: As far as I can see there's really no reason for an image this album cover not to be on Wikipedia. What we need is for you to identify where the image comes from. If it's taken from a web site, just mention that web site. If you scanned it yourself from the actual album, say that. That's all we need. -Rholton 01:25, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Woody Allen

I've responded on the Talk Page. That particular vandal/pest would be annoying, were he not so pathetically laughable. Eleemosynary 13:02, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Help with vandalism/PR on Mark Simone page

Several anon editors with extensive vandalism histories have tried to turn this page into an extensive PR campaign for the article subject (much as was previously done on the Mark Levin page). I've removed the PR/Press Release info, explained the reasons why in the Talk Page and article summaries, and the vandals are reverting at will. The same vandals are blanking the Talk page. Judging by their own Talk pages, they have a history of ignoring vandalism warnings. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Eleemosynary 15:47, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mediation on Rush Limbaugh Page

Would you mind weighing in with your opinion on the Chelsea Clinton incident? It is now under mediation. As we are not along the same ideological lines politically, your input would be especially appreciated. Eleemosynary 05:21, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Drudge

I just left Daz123 a blp warning on his talk page. That is the only article the user is editing, and every edit has been inserting blp violations, so don't hesitate to report him if he goes over 3RR, or reinserts the info again. Crockspot 16:32, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Devine.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Devine.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
