After a little searching I've discovered this: Peterson in the following interview says that he was about 18 or 19 when he was asked to dj at the first Bognor soul weekender [1]. On the Caister Soul Weekender website [2] it says the event moved from Caister to Bognor in 1980. I know this is true because I've been around that scene many years and written about Caister on the Jazz-funk article. so that makes Peterson about 44 or 45 now - I know he's older than 40, I just can't source it anywhere for definite. I believe there's a lot more detail to Peterson's career, so I've added some new sub-headings, hopefully editors will consider adding to this. It's perhaps worth writing a separate section on his involvement with various labels, including his new one Brownswood. Escaper7 07:05, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
