Gillette (singer)

Sandra Gillette (born 1974), who goes by her last name, is a former R&B-Dance artist from the 1990s.

She was born in New Jersey and grew up in Chicago and Houston, singing and rapping her way throug the 90's. Sandra Gillette graduated from Romeoville High School

Her most famous recordings are: Shake Your Money Maker released 1996 and On the Attack released 1994. She's best known for her dance jam Short Short Man and Mr. Personality found on the On the Attack recording. Her producers, 20 Fingers, were in charge of some of her biggest hits. In 2001 she released the single Fun Tonight, but couldn't recapture her success from her previous albums. She was cast in several independent films and in 2004, she co-founded a Cabaret group called Peekaboo Revue www.peekaboo-revue.com. After a year of performances the group eventually went their own way. You can find Gillette still performing at different events and clubs, rekindeling the sounds of the dance craze from the mid 90's.
