Gilberto Gonzalez

Gilberto Gonzalez (born December 15, 1970) is an athlete from Venezuela. He competes in triathlon.

Gonzalez competed at the first Olympic triathlon at the 2000 Summer Olympics. He took thirty-seventh place with a total time of 1:52:13.03.

Four years later, at the 2004 Summer Olympics, Gonzalez again competed. He placed thirty-sixth with a time of 1:59:12.20.

He won Gold Medal in Pan American Games in Winnipeg (Canada) in 1999. His best results are 2 World Cups victories in Cancun(Mexico) and Noosa(Australia).

He is math profesor in the University of Los Andes (ULA) since 1996. Have a Msc degree in Math Applied (ULA).
