Gideon B. Williamson (1898-1981) was a minister and general superintendent in the Church of the Nazarene, an United States Protestant denomination. Dr. G. B. Williamson was born in New Florence, Missouri, converted an called to preach at an early age, and joined the Church of the Nazarene in 19191. He graduated form John Fletcher College at University Park, Iowa, with further studies at McCormick and Northern Baptist semminaries in Chicago. Dr. Williamson pastored for sixteen years, adn served nine years as president of Eastern Nazarene College. He was general president of the Nazarene Young People's Society from 1932 to 1940. In 1946 he was elected to the office of general superintendent and served until his retirement in 1968. He then vbecame general superintendent emeritus until his death in 1981.
