Gibson ES-135

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Gibson ES-135 is a semi-hollow body electric guitar made by the Gibson Guitar Corporation. Introduced in 1991, it was discontinued in 2002. With a florentine cutaway, a trapeze tailpiece and two P-100 pickups (stacked humbuckers with P-90 covers), it had the looks of the old ES-125 TDC, but was not a fully hollow thinline guitar, having a sustain block like the ES-335 instead, here not made of maple, but of some softer and lighter wood.

The Gibson Guitar Corporation currently sells a similar model with more up-market appointments (neck binding and inlays) and two classic humbucking pickups, the Gibson ES-137.
