Gibril Donald Wilson (born November 12, 1981 in San Jose, California) is an American football safety for the New York Giants of the National Football League. He was selected with the fourth pick of the fifth round of the 2004 NFL Draft out of the University of Tennessee.

In his rookie season, Wilson instantly became a fan favorite in New York for his tenacious speed and hitting abilities. He also recorded three interceptions before his season was cut short due to injury. He was named Rookie of Month once in 2004. Wilson continued his strong play in 2005 and will look to enhance his status as his team improves. Wilson and his Giants won the NFC Eastern Division Title in 2005 before being eliminated in the Wild Card round. He lead the team in tackles in 2005 with 110.

In 2006, he was second on the team in tackles with 102 and tied for the team lead in interceptions with 2. He has played the most games out of any New York Giant on defense with playing 31 of the possible 32 games the last 2 seasons. When the offseason starts for 2007, he will be a Restricted Free Agent. A Restricted Free Agent is a person who has only played in the NFL for 3-4 years. Being a Restricted Free Agent means that another team cannot sign him unless they give up a draft pick for him, what ever the New York Giants decide to place on him.

He can currently be seen on foxsports.com listed as the most valuable defensive back in the league.
