Gibanica

Gibanica (Serbian Cyrillic: гибаница) is a Serbian phyllo pastry dish, usually made with several varieties of cheese.
Gibanica is a traditional Serbian dish. Other varieties and related dishes can also be found in surrounding countries of the Balkans, most notably in Macedonia, where it is known as maznik (мазник); and Bulgaria where it is usually called Banitsa (баница), as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and Croatia.
This is one of the most popular and recognizable dishes in Serbia and it is made most often for festive occasions, or simply as a comforting family snack. Gibanica is most commonly made with a variety of mild and strong cheeses, like cottage cheese, Feta cheese as well as kajmak. Other varieties are made with spinach, meat or potatoes and onions.
