Gianfranco Zaccai

Gianfranco Zaccai is president and CEO of Design Continuum, an international multidisciplinary design consultancy.
Actively involved with the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (ICSID), presently as Board Treasurer, he also served on the Board of Directors from 1993 through 1995 and was responsible for reinvigorating the ICSID Interdesign, serving as group leader in Sweden, Colombia and again for the Interdesign 1999 Workshop on Water in Johannesburg, South Africa. Zaccai has also served as Northeast District Vice President for the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) and was elected to the Board of Directors of the Design Management Institute (DMI) in 2003.
Zaccai and his firm’s work have been acclaimed in national and international publications and received numerous awards from organizations around the world. Presently a faculty member at SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan and an advisor to the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse, Zaccai holds degrees in Industrial Design from Syracuse University and in Architecture from The Boston Architectural Center.

Mr. Zaccai holds a degree in Industrial Design from Syracuse University. He was recognized as a Distinguished Scholar of the University in June of 2000. Zaccai also holds a degree in Architecture from The Boston Architectural Center.
