Giacomo "Jack" Galanda (January 30, 1975, Udine, Friuli-Venezia Giulia) is an Italian professional basketball player. He his a forward-centre of 210 cm and 105 kg.

Galanda is a product of Verona basketball, with which he made his debut in Italian Serie A on October 17, 1993. After four years for the Veronese team, he was traded to Fortitudo Bologna: however, in his first year he was utilized as reserve to Gregor Fucka, and had a limited impact.
In 1998 he was leased to Pallacanestro Varese, where he was a leader of the team that won a surprising scudetto. Galanda therefore returned to Bologna, where he remained until 2003, when he was traded to Mens Sana Siena. He won two further scudetti in 2000 and 2004. Starting from 2005, Galanda plays for Armani Jeans Milano. In 2006/07 he plays in Pallacanestro Varese.
Galanda made his debut for Italian national basketball team in 1997, and soon turned into one of the more representative players from his country. His successes with Azzurri jersey include a silver and a gold medals at the European Championships (1997 and 1999, respectively), and a silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics of Athens.
Galanda's main ability is the three-points throw, connected to a strong defensive stance. He also a good rebounds grabber.
