Ghetto Concept

Inspired by artists such as Run-DMC, Whodini, Isaac Hayes and Curtis Mayfield, the hip hop duo Ghetto Concept was formed by Kwajo and Dolo in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1989. They hail from the Rexdale neighbourhood in Toronto.
Their first single "Certified" was released in 1992 by independent label Groove-a-Lot Records. The duo won Juno Awards in 1994 and 1995 for "Certified" and "EZ On Tha Motion," respectively.
The duo created 7Bills Entertainment in 1996 and in 1998 released their self-titled debut album "Ghetto Concept."
Their most famous single was a 2002 remix of their track "Too Much", entitled "Still Too Much", which featured cameo appearances from the likes of Maestro, Kardinal Offishall, Red-1 from the Rascalz, and Snow.
