Ghaflah

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ghaflah (غفلة) is the Arabic word for negligence, heedlessness. In Islamic context, it is the sin of forgetting Allah and one's divine origins, or being indifferent of these. Ghaflah is an increasing issue in modern times due to the conflicts between religious texts and science and to a lesser extent because of worldweariness.
