Ggreg Snyder

Ggreg Snyder (born November 24, 1962, San Jose, California) is an American actor and pop culture maven. He attended Los Gatos High School is Los Gatos, California and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from San Francisco State University.

Though his acting career has spanned many years, and he has been featured on such programs as The Man Show and USA Up All Night, Ggreg is perhaps most notorious for appearing on Comedy Central’s Beat the Geeks (as the Saturday Morning Geek) and the Paramount Pictures film Trekkies 2, in which he was interviewed about his Star Trek-themed production of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. He has also been a contributing writer for National Lampoon magazine and Jay Leno’s The Tonight Show monologue.

In regards to the unusual spelling of his first name, according to his website “the extra 'g' is a silent prayer for world peace… When there is peace in the world, [it] will be gone.”
