Getting There is a 2002 direct-to-video movie starring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
The story revolves around twin sisters who, after turning 16, go on a road trip without their parents. Their destination is the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. The two girls, Kylie (Mary-Kate) and Taylor (Ashley) – along with their friends Sam, Lyndi, Toast and others – head out on their first road trip to the 2002 Winter Olympics in their new Ford Mustang, which they received for their birthday. The friends set out for wild adventures travelling to, at, and going back home. In the movie, Kylie and Sam are romantically involved for a short time. In the end they all are happy again. But in the alternate ending (included as an extra on the DVD release), Taylor gets Alexander and he gets the gold.

[edit] Trivia
- For some strange reason, the final shot of Kylie and Taylor's wet birthday cake – soaked by Toast's cannonball into the swimming pool – is flipped: not only is the model Ford Mustang on top of the cake facing in the opposite direction from before, but also the lettering on the SWEET 16 banner is in reverse. (This mirrored shot also appears in the flashback sequence at the end of The Challenge.)
- At the time of filming, Mary-Kate and Ashley only held learner drivers' permits. While it looked as if the twins were driving on-screen, off camera the car was actually being towed.
- Holly Towne, who played Lyndi, suffered an accident during filming and sustained a broken leg. Fortunately, the script was able to be rewritten in order to accommodate her injury.
