Get up get out

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Get Up, Get Out, (Get Active) was originally formed as part of a BBC advertisement in an attempt to get more young people out and about. The advertisement has since been withdrawn from broadcast but the BBC are continuing with the initiative. The UK government also ran a similar campaign and provided funding to youth groups.

[edit] Continued efforts

BBC have teamed up with Radio (BBC Radio Humberside’s CSV Action Desk) to continue the initiative. In the Autumn of 2006 they are running a teen (7 - 16) boot camp to get youngsters into shape.
