Get On The Bus was the third single from the girl group Destiny’s Child. The song featured rapper/producer Timbaland. The song is lifted from the original motion picture soundtrack, Why Do Fools Fall In Love. It was the second single to be lifted from the soundtrack following Melanie B’s debut single, I Want You Back. The single was produced by Timbaland, it peaked at number fifteen on the UK and Netherlands Music Charts, and at number 60 on the German Charts. The single was not released in the US and other major markets. This was Destiny’s Child’s first international single. The music video was directed by Earle Sebastian.
As a Timbaland song, the single featured some unorthodox parts, including the sounds of birds (a similar technique used in Aaliyah's Are You That Somebody?).
Generally, the song is seen as one of Destiny's Child less successful songs, but has become a fan favourite over the years, being even on the setlist of their 2001 worldtour.
