[edit] License tagging for Image:MtIsaairport.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:MtIsaairport.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 12:05, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image warning

Works of the Government of Australia, like Image:TC Tessi.jpg, are under crown copyright. Do not upload them under false tags, or you may be blocked. The image in question has been tagged for deletion. – Chacor 06:55, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Suburbs

Hi Gertzy,

What do you think of Template:Suburbs of Townsville/Thuringowa as a template? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Alec mcc (talkcontribs) 04:33, 17 December 2006 (UTC).

Hi Alec. I had a look at the template and i think that it is great, definetly something that should be used on the Townsville pages. Cheers -- Gertzy 30th of December, 2006: 13:10 (UTC).
Thanks for the feedback Gertzy, will start to get into in upon my return to Townsville, Happy New Year! Alec 07:35, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

That's cool, it was pretty silly and very immature vandalism, I actually figured it was a little kid doing it, but just goes to show there are big children out there too. Keep up the good work. Alec -(answering machine) 16:45, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] cultural issue

Hi Gertzy. I don't know if you have much experience in Indigenous issues (I know a vast majority of Australians are not very culturally competent through no fault of their own) but if you have any cultural experience or training could you please help me out at Wikipedia:Village_pump_(policy)#Cultural_Sensitivity_vs_Accuracy.2FClarity Policy Village pump. Thanks, Alec -(answering machine) 15:08, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
