[edit] Dual-mode truck ?

Is this something that doesn't exist yet? If so, it's possible someone may come along and try to delete it. Putting in references to verify that such things are being planned or built may help. Friday (talk) 19:28, 16 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Invite to MetaCollab.net

Hi Gerfriedc, I just wanted to invite you to have a look at http://metacollab.net - it is a collaboration on collaboration towards developing a general theory of collaboration (re your edits on the collaboration & cooperation page). It's only just been launched a few weeks ago, so it's just getting started. I'd love any impressions you might have. Mark Elliott 12:46, 21 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Biogas

Hello, Gerfriedc. I am confused about the statment in the biogas article about waste heat not being able to be used in warm climates during the summer, which makes cleaning the gas more attractive. From my experience, the majority of biogas plants don't use the waste heat at all, wastewater treatment plants being a notable exception. Also, I don't see why waste heat could not be used. Such places may not need space heating in summer, but space heating is only one form of waste heat use, and is relatively uncommon for sizeable plants. The waste heat could still be used to produce hot water or steam for residential use or for industrial processes. If you could help me understand, it would be great. Where was this taken? The surrounding architecture looks fascinating. (I'm assuming that it's Vienna, as the URL on the DHL truck is an Austrian one.) BillG | Talk 15:46, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Pyrolysis oil

I see that you did writing on the Pyrolysis oil article. I am following up on a Disambiguation quest on the word ash. When the term ash is used as a percentage of fossil fuels, as in Pyrolysis oil and Petroleum coke, does it mean the same as Ash (analytical chemistry)? Thanks! --Knulclunk 20:37, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
