Talk:German tanks in World War II
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The number of German tanks committed to Operation Barbarossa is listed here as about 8,000. Most sources including wikipedia's other pages give a number around 3,300. AFAIK the *total* number of German AFVs of all types, in all locations, was about 5,000 in June 1941. DMorpheus 15:08, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
- You have forgotten the armoured cars and half-tracks. These humbler vehicles are AFV's too ;o).--MWAK 06:51, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

- You are correct of course. I was thinking tanks but wrote 'AFVs'. My bad. DMorpheus 13:25, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
